Amelia Stalter, Art

Amelia Stalter graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School where she was very involved in music and arts. She went on to study Art Education and Psychology at Illinois State University focusing on many different medias including drawing, painting, ceramics and sculpture. After attending ISU, she continued her education at IVCC and graduated with an Associates in Construction Welding and Fabrication. She served as Vice President of Woman in Technology and helped to raise money for the group by bringing her artistic background in to creating metal art. Amelia has a passion for teaching and excels at helping people understand the basics so they can apply them in many creative ways and mediums. Her strong structural understanding helps her think outside of the box while allowing the creative process to flow. She enjoys working on projects with her daughters, they always come up with new and interesting challenges from Leprechaun traps to tiny houses.
